Make:provider script not found, even after update

I have an existing project. Want to create my first provider.
npm run make:provider

missing script: make:provider

OK, maybe it’s new. Clone latest OS.js in a new place. Now make_provider works in the new place. So, I need to upgrade my existing app?

 npm outdated

quite a bit, including lots of OS.js is out of date.

 npm update

lots gets updated. BUT, npm run make:provider still fails!

Any suggestions? Or shall I just zap my old project?

You’re just missing the script entries in package.json. You can still do npx osjs-cli make:provider.
