What about OS.js like a Flow component in Node-RED?

#1

Hi andersevenrud

I´m thinking about you and your product OS.js …
Maybe you can boost other enviroments for major use cases for OS.js

Please take a look in Node-RED
Dashboards would be appreciate and ever I think that your work is too very good for this

What about something like OS.js for a Dashboard component in Node-RED ?

Think about this:

https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-dashboard

node-red-contrib-osjs-dashboard ?

This will be good!, maybe, please see this option

Thank you

Greetings!

Hi,

I’m not familiar with RED, but I just had a look at briefly now.

What kind of a dashboard were you thinking about ?

Node-RED is a hight level Platform (and visual) for build programming solutions based in Data, Events, modules to flow and results

Then the Dashboard is the panel where I can see the result, and in general this is basic and programmatically done with modules, but this now can be very basic

All the “flow” component for Dashboards in Node-Red have basic capacity and for more or best visual results all this modules require more skills of other programm Languajes , and maybe something more manual like Node-RED is more smart

I remember sometime ago that you have something like this, to build automatically dashboards with more accesibylity

About Dashboards in Node-RED, some details here:

Maybe?

I still don’t really understand how you would fit OS.js into this. I would have thought it would be the other way around, i.e. using RED inside OS.js like some sort of development platform

Ahh, Ok, I´m thinking about this

Yes, this was my thought as well – which was the point I was trying to make in my previous comment.

I have to take a closer look at how RED works and how this would be implemented into OS.js. Let me get back to you on this

This can be a very good thing!
Good luck and I’ll be watching
Thank you!
