Xpra library error: worker.js not found

#1

when running an application with source the xpra code, on the client side I get:

GET http://localhost:8000/worker.js net::ERR_ABORTED 404 (Not Found)
(anonymous) @ main.js:8
Nt @ main.js:8
register @ index.js:12

what is worker.js, and is the library code updated? I tried adding in worker.js manually but ofc that didn’t work

#2

specifically this line is what causes the error:
const client = createClient({/* Configuration */});

#3

The worker.js file is a WebWorker that the xpra application uses to work with threads.

I’ll see if I can reproduce and get back to you :slight_smile:

#4

I actually can’t seem to reproduce this, even on a fresh setup of OS.js.

when running an application with source the xpra code, on the client side I get:

What exactly do you mean by “with” ? Are you trying to just run this app, or something else entirely ?

#5

I put that package in the ‘packages’ folder and tried to run it as is. Is this not gonna work? I want to make an application based off the xpra app but with some modifications (like completing your TODO).

#6

ahhh, sorry my bad, running ‘npm install’ may have fixed the problem.
